I came on this trip with a lot of questions and tons of things on my shoulders. I have to admit that I was also pretty scared of going across the border into a country I knew nothing about. But I'll never be the same after this trip, how could I be? The culture amazes me, I loved the kids(I would take them all home if I could.) We'll be doing two more services and then It's bye-bye Mexico. Sadly, I don't want to go.....I want to stay longer.... go help children, go to the prostitution rings and share Jesus with the women because they are worth so much more.
Someone I know is having a heart transplant today and it bothers me a lot....not because it's surgery but because of the risk involved. the risk of leaving everyone she loves behind or not operating like she used to. Of course I know God has the situation under control and there's no need to worry.....trust me, I know. I was just thinking God gives us all heart transplants(spiritually speaking) he makes us better, stronger, and able to operate in better ways.
God is somewhere in every situation!!!
Anyways I had chapel today and God has been teaching me that to be a great leader, you must be a great servant.
I never thought about this: the reason Jesus was a great leader was because Jesus was a great servant!!!
Leadership isn't all fun and games....its hardwork and I have to give a big thanks to my leadership, you guys are doing great!!!
Angie and I tutor two girls that we tutor are actually sisters and they are the funniest, sassiest girls ever! They are so smart also! They have such big dreams and want to do so much and I pray they never lose those dreams! Angie's whizkid wants to be President and my whizkid wants to be a scientist! Never lose those dreams girls!!!! The sky is the limit for you!!!

Who finds passion in stuffing envelopes and who finds great purpose in organizing church contacts. Who finds passion in booking services? I never see a purpose in finding passion for it, even though I do it most everyday. I do the behind the scenes stuff that no one really sees or notices(and trust me, it's ok (but I know some do notice). I hate what I do sometimes and I don't feel like doing it but I know it needs to be done and I value everything that's accomplished. I find joy in booking services and planning stuff and recruiting new students, because it simply needs to be done. Hear my heart my "passion" for all this is different, I won't shout it from the rooftop and I'll have my immature moments and grumble about it sometimes but I find value in what I do because someone needs to do it. Sending a Acceptance letter is the coolest thing because all the brunt work I did paid off...Honestly, I get to put an acceptance letter together and it is exciting to me, I'm playing a part in someones Destiny. I know Chantel blogged about passion in what you do and she's right but you don't have to express it in an outward way, because it's an internal thing for me. I downplay what I do and I know that but I really do think i play a small role on the team(which is fine) and my small role is doing big things when everyone on the team comes together. I don't see the finished product until the end, when we are doing a service and nothing fell through and if it did then we had a backup plan. Thats where I find value in what I do. I see the finished picture and that's where the purpose is.
By the way Congrats Nathan Freeman!!!! I'm so happy you've been accepted into DMC, can't wait to see you hear next year!!!
After morning prayer this morning Sonya, Tiffany, Greg and I went to Destiny Christian Schools Bible study. It was so great! We are watching the Passion right now and Bailey (the leader) is studying stuff out and getting really in depth about what Jesus went though! I must say that she is doing a awesome job! Currently we just got done with our scripture test and Greg is grading them now, I hope I passed!!! Today I'll also be calling churches to see if we can book some services, especially Hide and Seek services!!!
If you don't know what Hide and Seek is, it is our Girls Ministry that is lead by the the MC girls! How cool is that!
well, I have some work to do and hopefully I can get some of it done by lunch!
I love God! I taught a class today and God really moved!
Where is a list of what I want....
1. Jesus in my life forever
2. To see young people living for God
3. Young people living out Purity
4. My mom to see her worth and how pretty she is
5. To see my dad break free from addiction
6. To see my children and grandchildren living for God
Yea, so my Pastor back home would do this rap and it is so funny because he's this short bald guy......anyways, that would EXPLAIN THE TITLE of this blog.... Well, last night we had a service and God moved in a really cool way. the church got something out of it but the team did to! God is stretching us in so many ways right now!
I love Post it Notes!!!! They get me organized and trust me, I need to be organized!!!
God is opening up so many doors and windows!! I'm planning a girls retreat for next year and a team Retreat...well, an outline of one at least. I'm trying to plan a girls night for the MC girls with free manicures!!! YAY!!! I'm working on a class for this year and next year!!! It has to do with Singleness and Purity.....two seprate classes!!! I just have to say that I love Ministry and I'm actually speaking tonight!!!
You will not be able to know whats ahead of you, until you have seen
at least 4 pictures and read the explanation of what they are,our
future is here ,incredible!! what an age we live in.
Amazing technology from Japan.
Look closely and guess what they could be...
Are they pens with cameras?
Any wild guesses? No clue yet?
Ladies and gentlemen... congratulations!
You've just looked into the future...yep that's right!
You've just seen something that will replace your PC in the near future.
Here is how it works:
In the revolution of miniature computers, scientists have made great developments with bluetooth technology...
This is the forthcoming computers you can carry within your pockets .
This "pen sort of instrument" produces both the monitor as well as the keyboard on any flat surfaces from where you can carry out functions you would normally do on your desktop computer.
Can anyone say, "Good-bye laptops!"Looks like our computers are out of date... again!!!
